I graduated in 1999 from a small high school in a town south of Stillwater. I started working in my grandfather's grocery store and on my grandparent's farm in Lincoln county. I played football, and was also in the band
throughout my high school years.
After enrolling at OSU, I studied
journalism and political science, and ultimately was awarded a bachelor's degree in English in 2005. During college I had many odd jobs
from HVAC at the OSU Physical plant
to making crepes and being a main cook
at a family run restaurant in Stillwater.
I decided next to study the law and attended Oklahoma City University of Law from 2007 through 2010. After getting married in 2009, I prepared for and took the bar exam, and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 2011.
I began my practice that same year in our Chandler, Oklahoma office handling juvenile cases(both delinquent and deprived), but the majority of my work in criminal defense of all cases from traffic tickets to murder.
Having grown up in rural Oklahoma,
working on my parents dairy farm and working in their small-town
grocery and gas station, I graduated
high school, moved to Stillwater, and enrolled at Oklahoma State University
